Our Main Fundraising objective for 2010 is to raise money to pay for 4 new Rescue Boards to Replace our aging stocks. Each Board is a valuable asset to our Lifeguards acting as a speedy craft to carry out rescues in the sea. Each board costs over £700 and our fundraising goal is to raise £3000 to cover all the costs of gaining this much needed resource.
Co-Operative Grant Approved!
Great news! After successfully reaching our fundraising aim for 2009 with assisstance from the cooperative community fund we have purchased our replacement IRB engine, to our rejuvenated Inshore Rescue Boat in action please visit Dawlish Warren and support us at our life saving demonstrations on wednesday evenings 19:45 throughout the summer season. Our IRB in Action
The IRB is a specialist surf rescue craft developed in New Zealand There projected life is 25years so ours still has plenty of life left in her.
